As the leading to liberation, the factor for enlightenment is the Dhamma, it sets the Dhamma in motion: thus it is the Dhamma Wheel.

By the cause of the path, the Dhamma sets that Dhamma in motion: this is the Dhamma wheel.

By the establishment of mindfulness, the Dhamma sets that Dhamma in motion: this is the Dhamma wheel.

By the accomplishment of the bases of spiritual power, the Dhamma sets that Dhamma in motion: this is the Dhamma wheel.

By the non-distraction of tranquility, the Dhamma sets that Dhamma in motion: this is the Dhamma wheel.

By the prominence of concentration, the Dhamma sets that Dhamma in motion: this is the Dhamma wheel.

By the dominance of mindfulness, the Dhamma sets that Dhamma in motion: this is the Dhamma wheel.

By the surpassing of wisdom, the Dhamma sets that Dhamma in motion: this is the Dhamma wheel.

By the essence of liberation, the Dhamma sets that Dhamma in motion: this is the Dhamma wheel.
